ANNE VASQUEZ ’22
Anne has traveled from Washington Heights to Dyker Heights nearly every day during her four years at Poly. As a self-secure and curious learner, she has taken advantage of every opportunity that has come her way, from academics to the debate club to theater. With a passion for social justice and collaboration, Anne found a group of like-minded students at Poly, with whom she was able to share experiences and perspectives. She currently attends Bowdoin College.
JASMINE KAUR ’22
With an unending thirst for knowledge, Jasmine has taken on STEM-heavy course loads during her six years at Poly. Inspired and challenged by her teachers, she even added an independent study on artificial intelligence to her resume of advanced computer science and math classes. During her time at Poly, Jasmine has excelled in debate and Model UN, giving her the confidence and poise she will need to share her expertise and vision of AI with the world. Jasmine now attends Johns Hopkins University.
RYANTONY EXUMA ’22
As student body president for the 2021-22 school year, Ryantony Exuma ‘22 could be seen everywhere on campus. During his time at Poly, he grew tremendously as a leader both in and out of the classroom. Inspired by his history classes and the diversity of the student body he helped oversee, Ryantony learned that the mark of a true leader is to listen to, understand, and amplify the voices of those around him. He continues his academic journey at Dartmouth College.
UPDATE (June 4, 2024) – Dartmouth College ’26
Ryantony has built upon his experience as student body President and leader of Umoja Males (Poly’s Upper School affinity group for Black male-identifying students) in college. In April 2023, he was named a First-Year Fellow at The Nelson A. Rockefeller Center for Public Policy at Dartmouth College, which led him to a stint as a Government Relations Intern at the YMCA of the USA that summer. Ryantony, who is majoring in PPE, reflected on his experience in Montreal as part of the Rockefeller Global Leadership Program 2023-24.
